If you have a brand new business, or a business that is a little disorganized on the bookkeeping side, the first advice that I have for you is to make sure your chart of accounts is set up in QuickBooks Online, make sure you understand this, and know what to put into each category! This is the absolute foundation of your financial statements and if something is off here it will be an absolute mess come tax time to find out what went wrong! You can find all kinds of sample chart’s online and QuickBooks even offers some samples.
However, if you want a customized chart of accounts, and clear directions for your unique business on how to code all your transactions, I would love to help you! I am offering a one hour phone call or coffee (if you’re in Pensacola!) to tell you exactly how to set it up, what you need to set up, how it works and what to code to what category. I will probably throw in extra advice because I love talking about how bookkeeping doesn’t have to be so difficult 🙂
If you are interested in this, send me an e-mail at email@example.com, or fill out the form below and I will be in contact with you shortly!
