It’s time for another update on my favorite series on the blog! 101 in 1001!
If you don’t know what it is, you can find the original post here.
DAC Balance Goals:
None yet. But, this reminds me to finish working through Well-Loved Brand!
I’ve gotten really really close to loving the design on this site. It’s not quite there yet, and I can’t figure out what is missing. Can you? Leave me a comment if you have a suggestion!
None yet 🙁 He invited me to go golfing a few days ago, but I declined because I had to work.
None. But, the passport looks like an easy win!
Okay, y’all. I have the best husband ever. I was gone one Saturday all day for a charity event, and when I came home, Jed had hung up all new shelving in the pantry and had organized it all. I mean, if there’s a luckier girl in the world, I’d like to meet her. OH wait, there isn’t! I’ll post some pictures below. I felt so loved that day.
There’s been a slight change in this category. Instead of finishing Startup Camp, I’ve decided to work through Pat Flynn’s Power up Podcasting. It makes more sense to do this since this is a huge goal of mine this year, and I realized that I needed some guidance through all of the technical details. So far, I’ve gotten half way through. Hopefully in the March 2018 update, I will have this finished and have the first few episodes up and running.
The Economics Class and the Finance class are still in progress! It has been more challenging than I thought, but I am still excited to bring you content on all of this that will help you in your business.
I’m up to 100 Instagram followers (follow me @dac_balance_llc, please!) and the FaceBook followers is nothing to talk about, lol.
One BIG items has been checked off of this list. And it is a God story how it happened. For over a year now, I have been praying about how we were going to get Jed, my husband, a newer truck. I knew it was going to be a big expense, and one that we would have to plan for. My prayer list was this: Ford, F-150, Backseat (for car seats :), red, low mileage, great price. God answered that and more. In January, a family member gave Jed a 2005 Ford F-150 in immaculate condition with about 30,000 miles on it. It was red and had a backseat. As they were offering this to us and as we both walked out to look at it shocked, I kept thinking, ‘Is this a God-thing? Is this an answer to my prayers? Did God do this?’ Obviously, the answer is yes, but at the time it seemed like a coincidence. The next day, I was listening to one of my favorite pastors on the radio. I was only in the car for about 15 minutes. He was preaching through Genesis 24. Abraham’s servant was having the same exact conversation in his head that I was having. ‘Lord, here is my specific request. Please answer my prayer.’ And then when God did, he marveled and questioned it the same way that I did. Each time, God knew exactly what we needed exactly when we needed it. Praise the Lord he hears and answers our prayers!
None yet, but on Instagram a few days ago I posted a picture of a sunset that I took outside in the middle of February that reminds me why I love living here! (@lydia_g_miller_)
That is it for my update! Do you have this on your blog? I’d love to follow yours! Let me know in the comments!
